Billion Oyster Project (BOP) was founded in 2014 for the sole purpose of creating a healthy, biodiverse New York Harbor by placing 1 billion oysters into the harbor by 2035. Each year, BOP hosts an annual fundraiser to educate the public about the importance of its mission. This annual event is their largest fundraising moment and sees 1,000+ individuals in attendance.
